I am posting this for Sarah. Here is a list of children that we have for John and Elizabeth.
John Kincaid (Thomas Kincaid1) was born 10 Mar 1760 in, Albemarle Co., Virginia, and died AFT Apr 1834 in, Fayette Co., West Virginia. He married Elizabeth Hannah Gillespie (Galespie) 11 Feb 1782 in, Greenbrier Co., Virginia, daughter of James Gillespie (Galespie). She was born 31 May 1760 in, Augusta Co., Virginia. Name of Elizabeth’s mother and brothers and sisters are not known at this time.
Note: I think there is a James Gillespie (Galespie) in Chalkley’e Chronicles who sold land and then moved to KY.
1. Margaret "Peggy" Kincaid. She married James Ingram on 10-24-1809 in VA. He was born in, England.
2. James Gillespie Kincaid (John Kincaid2, Thomas Kincaid1) was born 19 Dec 1792, and died 18 Jul 1852. He married Mary Magdalene "Polly" Tritt 9 Dec 1809.
3. Matthew Kincaid (Kincade) : died in Missouri. He married Polly Murdock 2 Jun 1807 in Monroe Co., Virginia.
4. Magdaline Kincaid. She married Reuben Wyatt on 06-25-1823; moved to Lawrence Co., OH in 1830.
5. Virginia Jane Kincaid. born 1797. She married William M. Kincaid on 11-22-1810. Lived in the Gauley Bridge area.
6. Nancy Kincaid was born 1799. She married Thomas Hughes on 02-24-1825 in Nicholas Co., West Virginia
7. Sarah Kincaid. She married Thomas Terry on 10-23-1798 Greenbrier Co.
8. Elizabeth "Betsy" Kincaid. b: 12-02-1793 d: 1850 She married 1st Samuel Linegar and 2nd Squire James Sturgess (Sturgeon) Linegar and Sturgeon children are named in the James Gillespie Kincaid bible.
9. Samuel Kincaid. He married Betsy Walker on 04-26-1809
10. Hannah Kincaid. She married James Walker on 12-13-1798 in Greenbrier Co.; There is a marriage bond for this union.
11. Lanty Kincaid born 03-07-1806 married #1 Nancy Flanagan on 12-25-1827; married #2 Agnes Holcomb ca1831 Greenbrier Co.
Other possible children of John and Elizabeth:
12. Polly Kincaid. She married John Kincaid. She married Burgess No documentation
13. William Kincaid married to Mary _______ No documentation
14. Andrew Kincaid married to Elizabeth _____ No documentation
15. Hannah Kincaid married to a Mr. Watts on 12-07-1798; Note: Is this the same Hannah as #10?
Note: I think Sarah/Thomas Terry and Hannah/James Walker may be twins, both being born ca 1783 but have no proof.
